National Parks & State Forests

Give in to the call of the wild. Nine National Parks reveal adventure - sedate or wild. Bush walk, canoe, camp and commune with nature in remote & spectacular locations. Your adventure in paradise is waiting for you.

Also within East Gippsland are Marine National Parks, State Forests Drives and Walks. Delve into the State Forest Activities and Codes. Embark on journeys and experience nature within Parks that are accessible yet left largely untouched. Information is plentiful and should be referred to before any expedition or trek. Rough it and walk to specially located campsites or stay in Park locations where you can drive in and park near your site or accommodation. There will be amenities in some, and none in others. A plan is the key, and Parks Victoria or local Visitor Information Centres can assist you. Getting back to nature is in our blood, and in East Gippsland it throbs with excitement.
